I want to be absolutely clear to the residents of York South-Weston: I am in this election. I am actively campaigning and I have absolutely no intention of withdrawing from the race. Any suggestion or report indicating otherwise is categorically false.
I am deeply disappointed that false information regarding my candidacy was circulated publicly, particularly during the advance polling period when residents are making important decisions about who will represent them at City Hall. Voters deserve accurate information. False reporting of this nature has the potential to mislead voters and undermine confidence in our democratic process. I urge anyone circulating these false claims to stop immediately.
For over 40 years I have dedicated my life to public service. Throughout this time I have embraced change, faced challenges and worked tirelessly to stand up for the people of York South-Weston. That commitment has never wavered, and it certainly isn’t stopping now.
My experience has only strengthened my determination, energy and passion to continue serving this community. I am proud of what we have accomplished together but I know there is much more work to be done. As the late Mayor Hazel McCallion once said: “Age is strictly a figure. And it’s your approach to life that's important.” I couldn’t agree more. I have the experience, the determination and the drive to continue to deliver for the community I love.
I remain fully engaged in this campaign, continuing to knock on doors, speak with residents and listen to the issues that matter most to them. My focus remains exactly where it has always been: on the people who make York South-Weston such a special place to call home. I look forward to continuing this campaign and earning the confidence and support of voters on election day.

Frances has consistently supported keeping parks and public spaces open and accessible for everyone while also supporting investments in housing alternatives instead of unlawful occupation.
I support tenants through proven tools that deliver real results:
While others promoted risky tactics, Frances supported proven enforcement tools that protect tenants and hold landlords accountable.
